Strong staying power and beautiful rose pink shade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The YSL Lovenude Kiss Shaper Sculpting Lip Liner in shade Undressed Pink glides smoothly along the lips to shape and define them. It is not a super dry crayon texture for a lip liner. This is a my lips but better shade for me and I can tell it brightens my complexion. It is a beautiful rose pink color. I applied lip balm to moisturize my lips and wiped it off prior to application. This lip liner looks matte and was only a little bit drying when applied completely on the whole lip as shown in my photo. When worn with the matching YSL Lovenude Lip Blusher lipstick in shade Naughty Pink, it does have strong staying power and kept my lipstick in place for hours. When eating non oily foods and drinking water or carbonated beverages, there was minimal fading. Removal requires a makeup remover or oil cleanser. If mistakes are made drawing on the lipliner, you will definitely need some concealer to fix it because it does not wipe off easily.

Difficult to apply
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying this brand. Unfortunately, it's not what I expected. The color of the lip pencil is pretty. The packaging and labels are cool, but the product is dry and difficult to apply and spread. The texture is hard and flaky. It's also difficult to remove, almost like a stain. I would like to try another product from this brand, to give them another chance.

We’re so glad you liked the "Couture" packaging and the pretty shade of our Kiss Shaper Lip Liner, but we are truly sorry to hear that the formula felt dry, flaky, and difficult to apply. Because this liner is designed for 12-hour "second-skin" wear, it is formulated to set very quickly into a transfer-resistant matte finish, which can sometimes feel "tuggy" or dry if applied over un-prepped lips. To ensure a smoother glide, try a gentle lip exfoliation followed by a non-greasy balm (like our Top Secrets Lip Mailer) 10 minutes before lining. For removal, we recommend an oil-based cleanser or a bi-phase makeup remover to gently dissolve the long-wear pigments without scrubbing. We would love for you to give YSL another chance and many of our users who prefer a creamier, more "melt-on" feel absolutely love our Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick. Great quality - buttery smooth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t have anything bad to say about this lip liner. It’s buttery smooth, so easy to apply, blends out nicely. I got the shade 103. It’s just a little bit darker than my actual lip color. The packaging is super simple comes in a gold metallic box. The actual product seems of good quality. I enjoyed this liner and will continue to use it probably until it’s gone!

Enjoyable lip product

Lowkey lip liner
