What it does: Gently cleanse and moisturize skin with Kiehl's mild hydrating facial cleaning bar. Enriched with renewable squalane and responsibly sourced glacial glycoprotein, this highly concentrated cleanser lathers from a solid cream texture into a nourishing foam to effectively remove impurities without stripping the skin. Formulated to protect the skin's moisture barrier and natural pH levels, this hydrating facial cleansing bar helps skin feel clean and comfortable.
How to use: Under warm water, wet hydrating cleansing bar and lather damp skin in circular motions, avoiding the immediate eye area. Rinse and pat dry with a soft towel. Can be used twice a day.

I purchased this product at the end of July 2022 and today is the last day of March 2023… I use it twice a day (most days) and this had lasted me 7-8 months for only $20 … it’s gentle and moisturizing for everyday use and it never strips my skin or makes my skin breakout. This is it y’all!

Do not use if overly senesative - read ingredients
I was told this product is just like the Ultra Facial Cleanser and I can assure you it's not. I was breaking out and having eczema issues which I never had with the liquid cleanser. The ingredients are different and specifically, it contains SALICYLIC ACID which is incredibly problematic and detrimental for highly sensitive skin. I was assured by Kiehls employees that it couldn't be the cleansing bar (I also thought it was the weather as it was the winter) and they provided other products to help heal my skin. While those helped, the minute I stopped using the bar, my skin cleared within a week. This cleansing bar was literally damaging and destroying my skin.

less drying than most bar soaps
Bought this for my husband who suffers from bad eczema and often has trouble finding a cleanser he can tolerate but he fell in love with this bar soap and now uses all over body too. Doesn’t leave a residue on skin like a lot of bar soaps. I used it on my face and it could easily replace some of my expensive facial cleansers. Will keep buying!

Ultra facial hydrating concentrated cleansing bar
Excellent product that did not hurt my face, unfortunately discontinued. Its replacement in cream fomr strips my skin and hurts.

Why would you retire such an iconic product?!
Why retire your MVP?! You need people to run out sooner? Works too well? To clean? Then make it half the size, but we would still buy it.Such an iconic product that represents the essence of the brand. Poor decision. For those of us that are loyal (and I mean, decades loyal) to a product we will go out and find a new favorite and it will not be with you.I was also really disappointed when the shine-n-light hair groom was discontinued.
