Ultra Facial Oil-Free Lotion

I like how this moisturizes, (very nice; not oily feel; absorbs well) but I'm not sure if I can tolerate the medicine smell and tingle. I hate when moisturizers tingle. I have sensitive skin, so for me, it hurts. I'm going to see if it goes away. If it doesn't, it's going back. I will update in two weeks.

When i first purchased this lotion i was in LOVE. my face is pretty dry at first then instantly becomes oily (especially my T-zone) after a couple of hours. I use this lotion after using their oil-free face wash which i LOVE LOVE LOVE (but fyi it does make your skin super dry and removes any bit of oil..so you def. need to use a moisturizer after) After a couple months of using this lotion it no longer controlled my oily skin. I feel like this lotion absorbs fast but is very thick. sometimes making my face feel sticky? The only time it feels lightweight is if i put a tiny bit on my face. I'm on the fence with this product and will probably try something else.

This product lasts a long time- about 4-5 months if used without waste, daily. Even though I have sensitive/combo skin, I'm pretty sure it's great for oily skin. For oily skin users, it will probably remove just the right amount. It's definitely lightweight, and absorbs into skin quickly and cleanly. It also helps for your skin to look a little more balanced. With my kind of skin, it had an odd effect. It did moisturize, but at the same time, it removed too much oil. Also, it slightly hurt my sensitive skin and made it burn at times. Bottom line- great, but only for oily or combo skin (That is why I gave it four stars, if I was reviewing only for the effects it had on my own skin, it would only get three)! PS- Make sure the cap on this product snaps TWICE! If you have other products by Kiehl's, do the same to them!

After reading many reviews of this product, I decided to give it a shot. The price is a little high for the size of the bottle but it is definitely worth it. The moisturizer is extremely light weight but delivers all day moisture and non-oily skin. The product goes a long way and will last about 3 months according to my regimine. I apply the product once in the morning and once in the evening. If needed, I will apply a bit more throughout the day depending on the weather. My skin is extremely sensitive and every other product/brand I have purchased has caused breakouts and irritation. However, this product has calmed and nourished my skin. It has also balanced out the redness of my skin to deliver a balanced completion. I will definitely continue to purchase this product.

This lotion is incredible for people with oily skin like me. Every person with oily skin out there knows how hard it is to find a good moisturizer. Some make your skin greasy while others don't moisturize enough and you have to slather on half the bottle. This stuff is the perfect in-between. My face feels soft and smooth yet matte, but not so matte that it's dry and uncomfortable. This is the only facial lotion I will ever use.
