Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser

This is one of those products where it has benefits, but is also really odd. First of all, the smell is odd when you apply it, especially if your skin has gone through a lot during the day, it has that odd "dirty, oily skin" smell to it when you lather it on. It's a bit gross, but try to ignore it! The product definitely lasts A LONG time- you only need a pea sized amount, with a little bit of water. The product doesn't foam up, but rather, it thickens up into a white, milky looking texture on your face, and it actually feels rather good, like it's working on your face. Overtime, the product's claims to balance the skin does hold up. It has definitely make the tone and color of my skin more balanced and less splotchy. As for oil, it is good, only for oily and combo skin, so don't try this product if you have sensitive skin! Maybe give it a try if you have normal skin. The after affect of this product after you rinse it off is odd too (it might change depending on the amount of oil that you have on your skin). It is a bit too squeaky clean for me, but it does make your skin very clean looking afterwards. As for acne, it's not actually supposed to help acne (and it doesn't). So use this to get rid of oil and balance the skin tone, not for acne! Bottom line: Good for daily use, only for combo/oily skin, odd smell, not supposed to help acne, does help with oil control and skin tone balance, makes skin look clean afterwards, and leaves skin a bit too squeaky clean. Another thing- DON'T get this into your eyes, it hurts!! PS- Make sure you snap the cap TWICE! Do this with all your other capped Kiehl's products.

EXCELLENT. Period. Thankfully Nordie's lists the ingredients, and after purusing them (I'm a label-reader for 25 years) I knew that this just might be THE ONE. I was not disappointed. It says what it does; does what it says! i don't need to use my 'cleansing water' because it "thoroughly removes impurities." Plus, it was Price Matched (another GREAT Nordstrom policy), so BONUS.

I had been in search of a facial wash for a while before I found this gem. But once my package came I couldn't wait to wash my face. And lets just say, I fell in love instantly! The way the facial wash clings to your face with such a smooth, foamless, lather. I literally said OMG mid-wash. When I finished raising my face, it felt so clean and had a natural glow. I love this product, only had it a week and I already swear by it.

I've used it for years. And as with all Kielhs is an excellent daily cleanser, used as often as you wash your face per day.Beware of the build-up of bacteria under cap!! The product lasts very long as a tiny dab to wet face goes a long way. Remove cap every few days and clean as I clearly have forgotten to do... this build-up is over several weeks during g an extended work trip . As you near the end of the tube (2-3 months), you're going to take the cap off in order to dispense the cream. Sorry for the disgusting image, but now you know.
