I use it in the morning and love it for its sunscreen and moisture! It's kind of heavy though

good product bad smell
I love this moisturizer it is one of the best I’ve used without causing any breakouts. Unfortunately the sunscreen smell is way to strong for me. I returned the product.

Just okay
I wish I could say that I loved this, because I really love all the other Kiehl's products I've used, but this one falls short. It has that "sunscreen" smell, and while it has a nice texture when it goes on, it "pills" up when you try to put other makeup on over it. And I still got tanned after wearing this for a week just in regular daily sun exposure. I'll be finishing the jar, but won't be buying more.

Sunscreen!
I purchased it because of the sunscreen. Good to use before going outdoors. But not a lightweight cream that will disappear.

Feels like the expensive stuff
This is my second jar in a row of this -- I usually switch around. The price point for the quality of this cream is good for me. I love the smell of the cream, it's thick but spreads easily and absorbs well. I use the SPF30 variety because I' outside a lot. It has the feel of some of the super-expensive creams.

Disappointing!
I love the regular (non sunscreen) Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream as a daytime moisturizer over YSL Primer. It feels like my skin is drinking water and my skin glows and looks youthful. I bought this wanting to protect my skin from sunspots and sun damage. First off it’s heavy as other reviewers state. Does not feel moisturizing - it feels like you’re slathering your face in sunscreen. Not only does it stink like sunscreen but within an hour my face was very itchy and my eyes felt like they were starting to swell and I had to completely scrub everything off my face with soap and water which immediately relieved the symptoms. Be aware if you have sensitive skin/allergies. Would not recommend this product.
