Original Musk Eau de Toilette Spray

I love, love, love this fragrance! It is sensual and earthy. Strangers stop me to compliment how I smell. People who don't wear fragrance have complimented me wearing this wonderful musk. The beautiful aroma does not change after it is applied (as so many other fragrances do on me) and it lasts forever - literally, until I shower it off. I smile and feel happy every time I open the box to apply it. Bravo Kiehl's! I hope Nordstrom will continue to carry this awesome product because right now, you can only get it from Nordstrom or directly from Kiehl's.

I became allergic to fragrances about 30 years ago, breaking out in an itchy rash everywhere on my body that fragrance touched. Not only couldn't I wear perfumes, but I couldn't even use a scented deodorant. I truly never thought I'd be able to wear fragrance again. Not knowing exactly what it was about fragrances that caused the allergic reaction, I started experimenting with different essential oils and discovered that I could wear them without any ill effects. In addition, amongst the many I tried, none of them were even close to Kiehl's Musk Oil when it came to compliments. Every day, several times a day, family members, friends and strangers alike, would tell me how great I smelled....fresh and clean. The oil became my signature scent. When the Eau de Toilette spray came out I gave it a try and was thrilled that I could also wear that without any skin irritation. Its the ONLY fragrance I wear, and the icing on the cake is that not only do I still get a slew of compliments on my fragrance, but it lasts ALL DAY. I can put it on when I get out of the shower at 7am and at 9pm I still have people coming up to me asking what perfume I'm wearing because it smells so good!!! i will never wear anything other than Kiehl's Musk.

This is not a strong scent, it's a powerful scent. It's a classic musk like you may remember from years ago. It's worn by both men and women. What it does is blend with your own body chemistry to smell a bit different on each person. I wear one squirt of it and two squirts of my regular perfume. It blends very nicely w any scent in my opinion. This is a superior value and excellent value. I've been wearing it since the 1970s and have gotten compliments on the scent consistently over time. I've even had strangers ask me what it is. Btw, it last a long time, too, as this is a pungent and powerful scent. You do not need to use a lot and as others have said, it lasts for many hours.

Read the reviews on this and had to try. Sadly, my nose is not a fan. Smells stale and very strong. I love me my musks, and my never ending search for the musk from the 70s. To date, Kuumba Made Egyptian musk is the closest scent I've found. I'm not discounting previous positive reviews as fragrance is a very personal thing, this scent may work for you....just didn't for me.
