Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Skin Brightening Exfoliator effectively cleans and exfoliates pores to minimize skin irregularities and dullness for a noticeably brighter complexion. It also helps to boost your skin's moisture levels and helps skin to maintain its moisture balance while leaving it refreshed, smooth and clean. White birch extract increases skin's elasticity levels and collagen production resulting in restored skin density, volume and thickness while peony extract works with activated vitamin C to facilitate the reversal of discoloration for skin clarity.
How to use: Dispense a nickel-sized amount into the palm of your hand. Using your fingertips, gently apply to clean, damp skin in an upward and outward circular motion, avoiding the eye area. Continue treatment for approximately 30 seconds but no more than two minutes to achieve desired effect. Monitor your skin sensitivity closely, you may increase pressure slightly to enhance treatment results. With eyes closed, rinse with cool water and pat dry.

Skin brightening
I have been using the brightening exfoliant for about a month. I definitely see a difference. My skin looks like it has a more even skin tone and looks smooth. I am African American and have light medium skin color and tend to develop dark spot when in the sun.

Not an Exfoliator
I was not impressed with this product at all. It is says on the tube that it is an exfoliator, but it is basically a cream cleanser with a few microbeads thrown in. There was no exfoliation whatsoever. I've been using Kiehl's for a long time and this is the first time I will be sending a product back.

Skin brightening

Excellent daily exfoliator
I have fairly normal skin, with some dark spots resulting from sun exposure. I have tried many exfoliators which ended up being harsh, even for once a week use. This particular Kiehl's product is very nice to use. A very small amount suffices, initially, you feel fine grains which eventually give way to a soft creamy texture, as you softly rub in circular motion. I do have sensitive skin, normal to dry, so as soon as I wash my face I use Ultra Facial cream and I'm good to go. However, I cannot comment on the whitening qualities of the product, which provably requires using the exfoliator for a longer period of time. All in all, I love it!

Clearly Corrective Cleanser
I like this product a lot. After only one week my skin looks brighter. After each use my skin feels soft and clean. The texture does NOT scratch my skin and a very small amount will clean my face and neck.
It is too early to tell if this product will even out my skin tone and help with age spots but despite that, this product for me, is a keeper and I will continue to use it.

This Is A God Sent Product!
Oh I love love love this product. It works so wonderfully on my skin. This is going to be one of my favorite products from Kiehl's if not The Most Favorite!!
The exfoliator is very very fine but very effective. The cream foam is very soothing but do a GREAT job cleaning my skin. I am like addicted to this product. I want to use it every single day but I do not want to over exfoliate my skin. So I had to force myself to use it only 2-3 or 4 times a week.
After I clean my face with this product, I feel like my skin is reborn, literally reborn - it's so clean, so soft, so smooth and so brightening.
I am so buying this product again and I think I will keep using it until I don't know... just keep using it. I love it.
You Must Buy This Product & Try It!!! A MUST!

There is a difference
Although Kiehl's makes a finer and far more effective exfoliator than this one, the Clearly Corrective does leave skin more hydrated and feeling smoother than if you just used the cleanser. I use Clearly Corrective everyday and the more effective exfoliator about once a week for the best result.

Crazy about this Product!
I have tried so many products since my staple face wash was discontinued and now I finally found a replacement! I love, love, this cleanser. I have oily, acne prone, skin and have to be careful what I use on my face. This cleanser exceeds my expectations. After almost 3 weeks my skin looks brighter and is less oily at the end of the day. Bye Bye Clarisonic. Never cared for you anyway. I hope Kiehl's never stops making this product! I should note that the other reviewers are right in that you need a small amount of product to wash your face. This is much more budget friendly than you might think.
