Kiehl's Since 1851 Baby Gentle Hair & Body Wash is a gentle formula specially developed to respect and protect fragile and developing infant skin. It cleanses with a mild, tear-free formula infused with a light pleasant scent to leave your little darling smelling fresh and clean.

How to use: Pour a small amount into hand or a washcloth and apply to hair and body, working into a lather. Rinse carefully and dry gently.

As an adult I use this Kiehl's baby shampoo and wash for my face during the Spring and Summer to soothe and cleanse away allergy causing dust when the weather is hot and windy. Although it sounds strange the product really does not burn your eyes and is gentle enough to use all season. It has a mild scent that is so pleasant. I have used this for years for this purpose even back when the formula was a foam - and it was actually recommended to me by my eye doctor.

Deeply Disappointed – Why Discontinue a Perfect Pr

I am beyond upset and disappointed that Kiehl’s has decided to discontinue the Gentle Hair & Body Wash. This was the only product that worked for my daughter’s delicate hair and sensitive skin. I’ve tried countless alternatives over the years, and nothing came close to how well this product worked for her. Shame on whoever made this decision. Why take away something so many parents trusted and relied on? This wasn’t just a bottle of wash, it was peace of mind, knowing I had something gentle, safe, and effective for my child. I truly don’t know what we’ll do now. Kiehl’s, please reconsider. You had a product that worked perfectly. Why fix what wasn’t broken?

lightly scented

Like the scent of this product. Not stronger than your typical Johnson's baby products. Just wish for the price, it came in a bigger bottle w/ a pump. A pricy splurge.

ideal for infants and the elderly

Very gentle and ideal cleansing product with pleasant and subtle scent. Should some product get into the eyes, it will not sting like other baby products can. I have an infant and elderly grandmother benefitting from this product. The product lasts months as it is well concentrated, so it is a smart purchase economically too.

Kiehl’s lets loyal customers down again

This was a great product. Safe and helped itchy skin for babes to octogenarians in our family. Another great product and brand failure by Kiehl’s/Loreal. No more legacy products…focus only on top dollar skin creams. I recently got an email giving me a coupon with the tag- we miss you. Well, that wouldn’t be necessary if you brought back it didn’t discontinue healing products that you continue to disappear. I am beyond disappointed.

We love this product. Please continue to make it!! The gentle cleanser that you recommend to replace it is recommended for ages 3+ — not babies!! What do you recommend we use on our babies? Bring it back!!
