So sad :(
I am a middle age lady who purchased a previous pair of youth winter gloves for cycling....they lasted years and were pretty warm. I bought this pair on cyber monday and only wearing for a couple weeks and there are holes in the palm, also not warm at all but better than nothing. Its a shame because this pair matched my bike. I cant believe they didnt even last 3 weeks without a hole and the finger tip stitching is also falling apart. These will not last for a child if they didnt last with my adult gentle use.

Not as thick as they look in the picture
These will fine for the majority of North Texas winters. However, I wouldn't recommend for days below freezing if you're out playing in it. Luckily, we only have about a week of those temps so he'll still get use out of them.

Great multi use glove
I bought 2 pairs for each of my sons. One uses them for a great fall. gloves, the other uses them for reffing hockey games. Both uses are good as there hands stay warm. They also clean up well.
