These pajamas are really good quality. I've been looking for Jammie's without fire retardant. I've been researching bedding and clothing without forever chemicals, and these seem just about right, unless there is some other chemical I don't know about in them. The important thing is to be aware and do my best to head in the direction of no chemical additives. I finally switched to kapok pillows......
