Kids' North 600-Fill-Power Down Hooded Jacket

The coat is much thinner in person than pictured, down fill is definitely not as good as it used to be, even though it still says fill power is 600. There is even an empty space with no down in the sleeves. The outer layer fabric is thin with questionable durability. Sizing runs small which is typicall for The North Face jackets. I ordered size 10 (M)for my 7.5 yo slim and tall son and it fits just slightly large. He would wear it for two seasons the most before he outgrew it. Definitely, not worth paying full price for it. On top of everything, it arrived stinking of cigarette smoke. A complete disappoint.

I've been purchasing North Face jackets for my family for the last 20 years and always appreciated the quality. Unfortunately that wasn't the case with this purchase. I purchased this jacket for my son a couple weeks ago. After wearing it several times, I washed it according to the directions. It's ruined. The entire jacket has little water stains all over it. We haven't even had it for a whole month and it's ruined. So disappointed!
