Kids' Bare Steps^® H2O Water Shoe

Great water to every day shoes. Never know when your toddler will be playing in the water or a random puddle will come in site. Prevents my toddler from slipping. Shoes come in many sizes and width which can be hard to fit tiny feet. Opens up pretty good and can tighten as needed with the Velcro closure.

These shoes claim to be a water shoe. They are probably fine in a beach setting. however, the soles have no grip on normal concrete surfaces or solid flooring. My daughter slipped while walking on concrete in these shoes and hit her head on the ground. We then tested the grip of these shoes on the concrete and they are extremely slippery. Would not recommend wearing these shoes in wet environments.

This is a great shoe for toddlers and preschoolers. My nearly 3yo can put them on himself with or without socks and finds them comfortable. I like the no rise footbed and wide toe box for his foot development. My only downside for these is that proper fit depends on an adult putting the shoes on the child with the tongue of the shoe properly tucked and the velcro tight. When my son does it himself, the velcro's natural placement isn't tight and is prone to fall off. But I recognize this is user error!

My kid wore these a few times and have been great we noticed she wore them walking around our grass which was damp and then the pink dye rubbed off on her clothing. Not sure if that is normal to occur but seems odd to be marked a water shoe for the dye to them get on everything. Was really disappointed this happened.
