Faux Leather Diaper Belt Bag

I purchased this a few months ago and haven't been happier with a baby purchase! I use it all the time with (and without) my 1-year-old. It's super convenient for outings where you don't have your stroller with you. Having everything right there when trying to wrangle a baby on a bathroom changing table makes this a lifesaver. I liked it so much I bought one for my friend!

Just received my kibou bag and I absolutely love it. It truly will hold the essentials I need and keeps me from packing anything I realistically won’t use. Love the quality of the fabric (it’s super soft). The only thing that isn’t really a critique more of an FYI, my husband who is over 6’ definitely won’t be using it as a cross body like I had hoped - just in case he wanted to grab it and go. Even though he’s in shape his frame is just too big for it It’ll be more for me. But that’s totally ok! Already want to buy it another in the green!

I really wanted to love this bag, I purchased it once about a year ago, and then a couple weeks ago. Last year I wasn’t sure I was ready for a bag this small given my child’s age and the requisite stuff I pack, but this year I was excited to give it a try. I have some issues fitting my phone in my Lululemon Everyday Belt Bag (2L version) when I pack diapering items and snacks, so I thought this bag would be an upgrade. I was very disappointed, while I could fit my phone inside, I actually felt the bag was way less useful than my Lululemon bag. It’s inflexible, and feels like the space is super limited. There are only two card slots, so if you’re like me and want to have a credit card, license, insurance, Costco card, etc. then you are SOL. It’s also very heavy, the strap looks like it’s discoloring after wearing only once, and when wearing as a crossbody it cut my neck because of the material the strap is made of. Definitely returning, it is not a winner. Feels lower quality than the price point suggests, and the space doesn’t feel optimized. It’s also not lightweight if you’re used to any of the sportier belt bags, and even feels heavier than my full-sized Madewell purse I use when I want to look a little nicer than just carrying my belt bag. The wipe pocket also didn’t seem effective, my wipes felt drier after two days, and if I put in the full 20 wipes it felt like it took up half the pocket. I had to remove the changing pad to fit in my MagSafe charger and AirPods, which I view as essential as a working mom. Would only recommend this bag if you plan to wear as a fanny pack so the strap doesn’t slice your neck, and also if you don’t need anything for yourself. Also, I guess it might be more functional when your child is in smaller sized diapers or fully potty trained, but it barely fit one size 4 diaper with a mini stasher bag of crackers, 20 wipes, chapstick, and my few items. I put the same stuff back into my Lululemon bag to check I wasn’t crazy, and it all fit with room to spare, except my phone.

Such a cute and functional bag for moms on the go! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone as an easy alternative when heading to the park, carnival, trip about town vs the big bulky diaper bag. It is also stylish as a sling & moms can use it in place of a purse!

Bought this for my daughter who has a 2 month old baby boy. She loved it for going on walks and to dinner.
