I had been eyeing this coat for 6 months when it was first on sale. I loved the look and the light blue color with my coloring would be perfect. However, I was dissuaded by the numerous negative reviews. Here I am 6 months later and I have tried every wool blend, wool/cashmere blend coat from a variety of price points. I found them all to be too boxy and give me no shape at all. I have an event this weekend and needed a coat to wear over a gorgeous dress. I decided it was finally time to give this a try and I am so thrilled! It is a fraction of the cost of the other coats I’ve tried and makes me feel great and stylish. I also love the ease of the snap button closure. The pockets are deep enough for my IPhone XS Max, also a plus. It’s warm enough that I was comfortable in 28 degree temps in Chicago. As far as wear and tear, I haven’t had it long enough to know. HOWEVER, I’m at ease knowing that Nordstrom has the best return policy possible and should the lining tear or snap fall off, I will be taken care of completely. So far, so good though. For reference, I’m 5’4” and 165 and the medium fits perfectly. Hits just about at the knees.
