Carla Semiprecious Stone Drop Earrings

I bought 2 pairs of these earrings. One pair was the Amazonite, which appears online as a turquoise color, but in person, they are not. The Amazonite earrings are a pale aqua with a lot of white spots throughout the stone. One earring was lighter than the other. The earrings look nothing like the photo. I also bought the Lapis color, which appears online as a pretty, cobalt blue. In person, the earrings are a very dark blue, much darker than the online photo, and very dull. The stones are quite thick (about 1/4 inch deep) and heavy. The stones are 1 1/4 inches in length, and 3/4 inch wide at the widest point. These earrings are not what I was looking for, and do not have enough pizzazz to justify the expense.
