2-Inch Necklace Extender

Very disappointed in the quality of the necklace extender (and necklace). The rose gold tarnished within a handful of wears, despite not wearing until fully ready for the day (i.e. not sleeping or showering with necklace and extender on). Actually, I don't think it tarnished - the "gold plate" is completely gone. I know this is just "costume jewelry" but it's still very disappointing that a brand held at such a high regard failed so quickly.

I purchased this necklace extender because I am always just a little off for comfort with the shorter necklaces. I saw this one and thought I give it a try. This did the trick. I would have to say it’s for sure a shorter extender. It’s only 2 inches so don’t expect it to make a big adjustment, but I like the idea of this one for that reason alone. I didn’t want the chain to dangle past the necklace. The necklace I bought it for was actually not Kendra Scott and it still works. Since it’s small, it didn’t really matter than it wasn’t the exact gold. It did the trick and did what I wanted for it. I would hope when I buy a Kendra Scott necklace is will match, but know it’s in the back so it shouldn’t matter. So far it hasn’t turned on me where it goes to the front or anything. Gold isn’t a little different, but not in your face different. Happy I tried it.

Exactly what I was looking for! I have a Tiffany necklace that I have been considering to add more length to for versatility. I bought this 2 inch extender to try out the length before committing to altering my necklace at Tiffany's. It worked great. One thing I will point out is that the Tiffany's necklace chains are finer and smaller, so the hook part of this extender required some patience to hook onto Tiffany's chain. But it was doable.
