Ruthie Slide Sandal

I saw these on a blog and thought they were so cute, I ordered them immediately. Well, I was a little worried when they showed up because they felt flimsy and didn't seem to offer a lot of support but I kept them even so. I wore them for the first time today ... I should have sent them back. I have blisters on both of my big toes (a first for me and I wouldn't say the shoe was tight) and the ball of my foot is so sore. Easily one of the worst pair of shoes I've purchased to date.

Bought this shoe in Feb for the upcoming Summer. Packed for a trip this weekend. Looked down and saw where gold came off. It was only 'dress' shoe I packed. So I had to wear my walking shoes the entire time.

I love these so much I have them in three colors. I have a medium foot and Were a bit narrow at first but fir perfectly now.

I hate writing this review because I was obsessed with this sandal years ago. I bought a pair just before my honeymoon and wore them all over cobblestone roads in Italy without even having to break them in -- they were THAT comfortable. I was excited to see them available again, but they are not like the ones I had before. They're not uncomfortable, but the leather is so unbelievably thin. Any tiny bump or bone on your foot is visible through the leather, as if you're wearing pantyhose, and not a leather sandal. It's so thin that it bunches up as you slide your foot in and you need to straighten the leather out. Sadly, I will be returning. I really miss the previous version.

Absolutely love these slides! They go with everything and are very comfortable.

they're super cute, goes well with so many outfits and super comfortable. I wear my true size (7) and never had a blister. It's even comfortable for a little longer walk in the park but not intense long walk. Anyway, love it for work and out on a date. The leather is so so soft I never had to break it in.
