Made for a higher arch
The Castle Slingback in mustard is a very nice looking shoe. No complaints about style, comfort or workmanship. It's made, however, for someone with a higher arch. There was a gap of 3/4 inches between my arch and the top of the shoe. Each time I bent my foot to take a step, because of the gap, the shoe bent out on each side making it sloppy and unattractive to walk.

I'm not sure why I ordered it. It looked shorter than normal and didn't go with anything I owned. Too bad the mustard suede is beautiful.

Slingback, Bootie, Cowboy boot!
I often admire this shoe designer-often have to return because sizing is too big--this time my regular size
(9) was correct--perhaps because the fore-foot is flexible & somewhat wide. Leather, styling & comfort
is very good--I can see them as a classic and will probably wear them with pants as the higher front vamp
tends to foreshorten the leg...I purchased the black, the heel height is comfortable but provides some lift.
Overall, well done.
