Targhee III Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Ordered to wear while on trip overseas. They are too heavy and clunky for my purposes. I’ll be looking for trail active shoes instead.

very comfortable and wide which I like

I gave four stars because I haven’t worn them yet, but will this fall, sometimes this winter, then spring. I did try them on and they’re big so if ordering you might consider downsizing. I’m hoping a thick sock will ensure a comfy fit. The shoe looks awesome, I really like how rugged they are, stylish, and low at the ankle. The quality is Keen-level for sure!

Things are really holding up and I’m very tough on shoes. We walk through a lot of wet, muddy areas, sometimes on hillsides with my dog pulling me following a track. They really grip the ground and I’ve never had wet socks!

This was my 5th pair of Keen shoes, and for once, I was let down. These were a gift so I had no control over what was ordered so I gave them the shoe size I normally wear in Keen shoes. These are too narrow in comparison to the Newport H2, which also have the Original Fit. I have "wide" feet and the H2 fit me perfectly. So my recommendation would be to order up a size if you have a fuller foot. My foot is less "wide" than it is chubby, but there doesn't seem to be Plus Size shoes. I will say that these are a well, long wearing shoe. In that aspect, I really love them.
