Faulty sole design
The Targhee II has a faulty sole. Read the reviews; you will see folks mentioning sole separation over and over. This is not a new issue. These two part soles are plagued with separation issues. I love Keens, but they should be ashamed to still make these with this sole. They fall apart outside of their 1-year warranty, so loyal Keens shoppers are stuck with unusable boots.

Garden Hiking Woods or River... Keen!
Keen, enough said! Ohh how they understand the rough and wet and wild and fun or hard work. Not the sexiest shoe, but keep my feet cradled in comfort and protection so they can be beautiful after work or adventure. I normally wear a 9, and it is a perfect fit. Great Arch Support, Large toe box for movement. Awesome tread. Onward I go...
