A perfect experience
My Kansas pheasant hunt last weekend fell right into the Polar Vortex storm. Snow, -16°, and windy. My feet were perfect for both 6-hour hunt days. I never got wet or even chilled. Compared to Keen work boots, the lace system is a tad more awkward, but they did stay nice and set for all of our hiking.

Cheaply made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are very cheaply made the souls are glued on not so this is my second pair of keen boots I’ve had fall apart, and I’m getting very tired of these products. It’s hard to find a shoe with a flat soul.

Great boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these boots for winter! I wear them all day everyday and they are comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair of these, I wore my other pair for 5 winters and figured it was time for new pair. I pull a hopper trailer and they are all I need for loading in below zero weather.

Great Boots. . . so far
I have only worn them a handful of times so far, but, I really like them
I wore them on a 12 degree below zero (with wind chill factored in) and my feet did not get uncomfortably cold. They are comfortable and will hopefully serve me well for the next several years.
I know there is a waterproof membrane, but wished the outer leather was waterproofed from the factory as well.

Hobbit on an Adventure
Keens are the best! I got these boots on Saturday night took them for a walk to the local bar and then the grocery. The next day I took them on a 16 mile test run with close to 4000 ft in elevation gain. I wouldn't think of doing that in new boots other than Keens. I have one small blister, but they were definitely the right choice. They kept the feet warm in temps below freezing, tread was so good I never pulled out the Yaktraks, and, when I had no choice but to walk through the shallow creek and sections of the trail overtaken by snow melt, they didn't disappoint. There was a last unexpected creek crossing not on the map (likely dry most of the year). I was so confident in them at that point that I just walked right through it.

Why so narrow???????????????????????????
i have had a pair of these boots for 3 winters and while the durability and warmth is very good, i have to ask why the toebox is so narrow????? i have worn Keen hikers and sneakers since 2010 and really love the wide toebox. These boots might as well be any of the other fine boots out there with a narrow toebox. i really wonder why this is? could somebody for once answer this question???

Warm feet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a fit and active worker but have a hard time staying warm, especially in my extremities. These boots are keeping my feet warm without fancy thick socks during full days when the temperature stayed in the teens. At the same time they're not so clunky and oversized to keep me from getting around the farm easily.
