What it does: A copper boiling element and stainless-steel thermal carafe ensure precise temperature regulation for optimal coffee-soluble extraction. The carafe includes a travel lid so you can enjoy a portable pot of perfectly brewed coffee at an ideal temperature with every cup.

Additional features: Brews 40 ounces of coffee in six minutes. The thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for up to one hour.

Makes fantastic coffee

This makes the best coffee of any pot I’ve ever owned. Plus, it looks really cool. It keeps the coffee hot for hours. The thermal carafe is lined with glass and is of really high quality. It is a little quirky, though. You have to wet the paper filter before putting the coffee in it. It comes with a plastic plate that sits under the pot but that doesn’t stay attached and it makes the appliance difficult to slide on the counter. That plate is totally unnecessary, so just trash it. You also have to remember to turn the power off after it brews. It also has an insert that you screw into the pot before brewing. Once it’s brewed, you remove the insert and screw in the lid. Can you deal with these quirks in exchange for the best possible home brewed coffee? Then you’ll love it!

Coffee maker was received damaged. NOT Packed well

Very sad, the Coffee maker was delivered damaged. The coffee maker box was in a larger shipping box with no packing material. The carafe was broken and the instructions packet looked dirty, like it was a return item, very disappointed since I purchased this as a gift to my parents. I shipped it back in the same (somewhat damaged box after "I" added packing material and taping up damaged box. I may purchase a different unit without glass carafe and pick up at one of your locations (even though they're all over an hour and a half away from me) to make sure it's not damaged before I pickup.

This was a great buy. It makes the best drip coffee I've ever had. The only drawback is the rather cheap plastic that make up the lid of the water reservoir and the lid of the filter and ground coffee holder. On a most positive note, the glass-lined carafe holds the coffee's heat for many hours.

Week tasting coffee

High quality machine, however the coffee doesn’t match the (Chemex) pour over taste. I find no matter how much coffee used it doesn’t produce strong coffee to my taste, probably due to uneven soaking of the ground coffee.

It’s a coffee maker that makes good coffee.

Makes Good Coffee But it’s just a coffee maker. Idk what I expected but I have eyed this for a few years and when I saw it on sale I grabbed it. I think the build up for 3 years made me a tiny bit disappointed. The plastic tank cover and filter basket don’t feel very high end and I was not expecting that. I will say, it makes a clean, cup of coffee, I also love the carafe because the coffee stays warm for hours and still tastes fresh. The body of the machine is nice (powder coated?) metal and the carafe is awesome. I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag but I like it on my counter so I’m keeping it.
