Kayla Halter Gown

I bought this for an upcoming wedding at a winery. The fit is true to size and the color and fabric are beautiful. For reference I am 5’6”, 125lbs, smaller in the bust area, and the 2 fits like a glove. Length is nice and will be perfect with a 3” heel. Don’t hesitate to purchase. You will feel elegant when you wear it.

I love the look of this dress. I did have to have it slightly altered to bring it in a little under the arm. I also had the split shortened a few inches in order not to bear my legs when I’m sitting down. Otherwise, it was perfect. let your alteration know that this particular material is rather picky and sometimes it will pull at the seams. Take care.

For reference, I'm 59 yo, 5' 4", about 115 lbs, and 34 B (barely a B). I purchased size 2 and size 4 in black and tonal petal. Both fabrics are beautiful. The size 4 had a slightly baggy top and was big at the waist. The waist band is only attached at the side seams so the fit here is important. The size 4 just wasn't flattering. The size 2 fit better at the waist, but the top was still a little big under the arms. Another reviewer commented on the tie at the neck. It does hold the dress up and should be securely tied. I find the tie elegant, but it does feel heavy. Some could find it annoying, especially on a dance floor. Perhaps this dress works better for B to C bra cup sizes???
