Stretch Satin Sheath Dress

I bought this dress for my son's wedding in the Fall. It is beautiful but I am sending it back. I actually bought both colors and liked the black much better. The dress is way too thick for a menapausal woman. I would sweat all night!! Also, the cleavage area went down too low for my liking. I want to be comfortable. But it really is a pretty dress.

How I would have loved to be able to keep this gorgeous dress and wear it to my son's wedding. Alas, as a person who has a bit of an apple shape---never had a real waist even in my younger, thinner days---this dress was not flattering to me. I was so sad, but it was not the fault of the dress. The quality was impeccable, and I was sad to have to return it. Although it would have been perfect for the semi-formal wedding my son and his bride are having, it would also have been useful for years to come as a dressy but not fussy dress. Would be appropriate for women of all ages, as the style is both timeless and ageless.
