Sansa Bateau Neck Gown

I ordered this dress in the Heather Rose, as mother of the groom. I had to send it back, the color was not good on me and not right for the overall look the bride is going for. It has a beautiful feel and the quality was great. I think it could use a slit up the middle but overall a lovely dress. Nordstrom's has been wonderful for me and my search. In the store (like all of the department stores) the selection has been limited and I have gone to 3 Nordstroms but online ordering has been the best way to try on many dresses. I don't like ordering a lot and sending back but in the case I have too. And Nordstrom's makes it so easy. They are my go to store for service and selection.

I’m 71 - mother of the bride - I ordered size 10. It fits perfectly except tight in the waist. I’m 5 ft 6” tall and weigh 140. I like the dusty rose pink color and the design simplicity - especially the pleats on the front which hide my tummy - plan on big diamond earrings and opera length pearls to complete my look.
