Kawika XL 58mm PolarizedPlus2® Rectangular Sunglasses

The Kawika finally got bigger! To me, just a hair, a tiny hair too small still, but they finally made it for larger heads. The look and style are still classic, still timeless, you can switch the lens if wanted, so its a big win finally! I thought I was the only one writing in to MJ about the Kawika, so thanks to others and thanks to MJ for listening. A 59/60 would be an appropriate XL, but ill take it!

Have had many pair of Maui Jim sunglasses in the past. These rate at the top. Thank you for making an XL version for those of us with a little larger head. Will order another pair soon.

Wonderful sunglasses. I had the identical regular-sized sunglasses, but they were really too small for me. I got the XLs and they are great.

I ordered the Kawika XL after having the original pair gor years but always finding it felt a bit snug. I order this pair in the Red/Gold combo and love it! The glasses fit perfectly (on the larger side, use exact measurements) and have the premium quality/finish I’ve come to expect with Maui Jim. I wish the price was a bit lower for this pair, but that’s my only complaint.

These sunglasses are ideal for people requiring a longer temple arm. The styling is great and the quality is exceptional.

I rated these 3 stars because I really love these frames, but I really don’t love the reflective lens coating. I just wanted a standard dark grey or dark green lens without that reflective look, especially with the stripe down the middle. I tried multiple lenses but unfortunately returned all of them due to the lenses. As soon as you make the Kawika XL with a non-reflective lens, I’ll definitely buy a pair.
