Twirl Sleeveless Drape Back Dress

I wanted to love this dress so much. My wedding dress a few years ago was made by Katie May and I loved the label's sexy and feminine dress designs. Unfortunately this did not live up to my expectations and actually fell pretty short. The color was way different than in the photo; I was expecting a dusty pink and it was more like a pale purple, very blah color. The fabric is stretchy but it was not in that awesome, hugs your body and hides imperfections kinda way. Like you'd need some spanx underneath it for sure to smooth things out (definitely something in the nipple area). And it's not that I got a size too small, nope. I ordered a Medium and I probably could have sized down because it was loose in some sections that it wasn't supposed to be loose in (not sure how someone without at least a D cup is supposed to wear this) and the straps kept falling down. Also it was way too long. For context I'm 5'9'', 165 lbs, 36 DD. Sadly I'll have to return this dress.

This dress would be awesome for larger buster wide shoulder gals. It felt like the straps were going to fall off which made me a bit uncomfortable. Love the coverage up front. Color is really that bright, the material is quite nice and it has a full lining with is awesome. Good quality dress, does run small so size up one… maybe 2.

My measurements are the almost the same size as the model who's featured in the picture and at the designer's website. I'm a 32D, 24 inch waist and the only difference is my hips are a little bigger (mine are 36.5 inches, the model has 35 inch hips). Since they said the model wore a size small, I purchased a size small and it fits great! I'm really happy with my purchase. I'm not sure yet what bra I will wear with it. I might get a strapless glue-on bra or just add sew-in cups. I'll think about that part, but overall the dress is spectacular, of high quality and fits me well. I'm really happy with my purchase and just love the dress I purchased in the vibrant red color. Additionally, I feel the dress ran true to size and fit me like the model, except my hips are just slightly larger. My husband loves the dress, too. It's a keeper. I can't wait to wear it out.
