It's a maxi not a midi
I have been very careful about ordering from Nordstrom lately because all the 3rd party sellers make me feel like I am shopping at Amazon and not a high end department store. But I made an exception with this item because I was so intrigued by the mention of hand embroidered details. It was one of the most beautifully packaged items I have received of late and shows the brand truly cares about quality and detail. I loved everything about the dress except the length. It hits at my ankles not at all as shown. Given the hand embroidery there is no way to shorten it even if I had it taken up at the waist to keep the flowere detail in tact. There is embroidering throughout. If the length were as shown it would be the first time I have ordered anything in ages that didn't need to be taken in. Had it not been a discrepancy in the length I would have given it 5 stars. So disappointed.
