this is the bag I've been searching for
The lines are good, the shape classic. The size is perfect if you're not the kind of person who wants to carry something for _every_ eventuality, but the kind who wants to have some extra supplies for the most likely surprises. For me at least, this bag says "I know what I'm doing".
