'cedar street - mini maise' crossbody bag

This is the cutest mini bag that I have ever seen. Its loaded with detail and style. Its the perfect mini bag that will fit your necessities. Someone posted that the iPhone 6 "plus" does not fit but that is NOT accurate. My brand new iPhone 6 "plus" fits perfectly with plenty of room for everything else including an adorable Kate Spade mini wallet. You are going to love this and you can wear it casual of dressy. The only problem that I have found is that I want one in EVERY color!!!!! I did get it in the pale rose color and its just gorgeous!!! Black will be next!

I tried this bag on in-store, and it's ridiculously cute in person. But be warned, the bag is super, super tiny! The main compartment is so small that it can carry only minimal amount of items. Most likely a standard sized iPhone, a very small set of keys, and card case. I'm 5'6'' and slender, and the strap hits below my hipbone, and when worn crossbody, it rests on said hipbone. You can only hold the handles by the hand since the handle drop is so tiny. And since the leather is so stiff, it makes it very difficult to put - and remove - items in and out of the bag without the zipper teeth scratching your hands. I wish Kate Spade made this bag a wee bit bigger, and with softer leather so it can be more flexible, thus making it easier to grab things on the go. The bag is still ridiculously adorable and is great for those days when you only want to carry JUST the essentials. I still highly recommend it!!

This bag is perfect, it has just enough space to hold the essentials, keys, phone, card case and lipstick. I do wish the shoulder strap was removable though.

I initially bought the rose jade bag, and I just LOVED it!! This bag is sturdy and durable and wipes clean easily. It is very small, so it's great if you only want to take a small loaded wallet, keys (I use the Kate Spade key chain, and it's a nice touch) lipstick, travel sized fragrance, and lastly my iphone 6s (yes, I said iphone 6s). Few reviewers said they couldn't fit their phone 6 in it, but let me explain why; the top of the bag is narrower than the bottom, therefore you must put the phone in upright, then slide it down sideways (with no struggle or strain on the bag). I don't mind doing this, because the bag is too beautiful not to keep. However, I don't recommend the otterbox phone case, as it makes the size bulkier. I LOVE using my Kate Spade phone case, and it slides right in with plenty of room to spare. If you are willing to deal with that extra step of how to put the phone in (it really isn't a struggle), it's a definite keeper. For the record, I am VERY picky about my bags, including the interior!! I loved this one so much that I also purchased the black one (SO GORGEOUS!!), and I frequently get stopped and complimented. That being said, if you are a minimalist this bag is for you.

I bought this bag as an impulse purchase. I had been planning to get a nice clutch for going out but decided against it when I saw this bag. It fits my iPhone 6 , keys , -a few makeup items, and my credit card/ID. It's a great bag for going out when you don't want to carry a big bag.

I'd been eying this purse (the Cedar Street Maise) for as long as it's been out (18 months?) and longing for the Maise since I set eyes on it. I'm extremely finicky about handbags - I only own 3 - I want them to be quality, fashionable and durable. So I've been thinking about purchasing this handbag for about 18 months going on a year. My wonderful husband bought this bag for me as a birthday gift. Here is my review: - Size I absolutely love the size - not a fan of the big purse. I like have space for my wallet, phone, keys, lipstick and a few other small misc. items. That Is It. Small purses that aren't evening clutches are hard to find -- I'm so pleased by this bag. Pretty obvious but if you like a big purse - this isn't for you. - Material The material is real leather despite feeling plastic-ish. I would like it a tiny bit more if it felt more leather-ish. If I didn't know that the material is in fact a form of leather - I would bet $10 that it was plastic so just keep that in mind. On the pro side, I suspect the material it's made of is more durable than a softer more leather-ish leather would be and will wear better over time. - Carrying Strap My only issue with the bag is the handle - it is long and made of the same stiffish leather as the bag. The material is to stiff to be knotted easily to shorten the strap. Please note that I'm 4'11" and therefore shorten EVERYTHING. For you ladies 5'8" and over this comment doesn't apply to you. I don't like that the strap can't be unclipped - because I'd like to just carry the bag by the handles. Summary- Overall I'm over the moon about this bag and look forward to carrying for years to come. Thank you Nordstrom!
