Overpriced Scrub!
Let's be honest, a lot of us purchase these high-end skincare products because we receive samples and, unfortunately, most samples seem to be a concentrated formula. It's rare when I purchase a full size product and it's as good as the sample. That's exactly what happened with this product. I used the sample and my skin was so soft, pores looked super clean, so I decided to purchase to see what the long term results would be as some people swear this stuff even has anti-aging properties. I purchased the largest size and I didn't want to write a review until I was done with the tube, so I could write my honest opinion. Save your money, this product is nothing more than an excellent scrub, but I can get an excellent scrub at my local drugstore for less than ten dollars. If you have skin texture problems or large pores and you want to see real results, get weekly glycolic peels and invest your money in a good moisturizer and/or serum. I regret spending almost two hundred dollars on what looks like a green smoothie with sand in it!

too expensive
I think this works fine as an exfoliant, but not better than others I've tried. And it costs $44 per ounce, which I think is outrageous. I prefer the Peter Thomas Roth 'Clinical Peel & Reveal' Dermal Resurfacer product, which has many of the same qualities as Exfolikate, is much more reasonably priced, and works wonderfully for me.

Um...too harsh for me.
I tried this twice and both times my skin had the same reaction. I got very angry looking dry patches on my face that burned and were red. Both times it took about a full week to heal. I just returned it and they told me it's actually a very harsh exfoliate. They thought it was possible my skin reacted to the cinnamon in it. I exchanged it for the gentle one without cinnamon. Hopefully this will be better.

Excellent product!
I have used Exfolikate since it was originally called Kate in a Jar, and have not found any other exfoliating product better than this! I use it only once a week because it is so expensive, hence the 4 stars rather than 5. My skin is soft, glowing and downright beautiful after using this product.

EXCELLENT
This is a wonderful product. It does sting quite a bit, so be prepared. No real redness though. You'll need to find the right amount of time to leave it on, for your skin. I think I was too aggressive in applying it the first time, for my somewhat sensitive/dry skin. Kate Sommerville does have this product available for sensitive skin. I tried a sample of that one, and didn't feel like my skin was as soft and fresh feeling after using it. I've never experienced any at home product that worked as beautifully as this one.
I decided on 4 stars because I truly believe her products are unnecessarily high priced. It's difficult to justify the prices. I can't afford to use her whole line, and think my results are not a great because of it.
