EradiKate^® Acne Treatment

Pretend you have whisked this up in professor snape's potions class at hogwarts and maybe you won't be so revolted. At first application it smells of musty towel dipped in nail polish remover. When you wash it off in the shower the next morning it will fill your bathroom with the heavenly aroma of low tide. Except all your emerging pimples will be gone. Worth it.

I have pretty good skin, I really only get a spot around monthly cycles but I do think this spot treatment helped eliminate some redness when worn overnight. Clearly you look goofy with a pepto bismol pink spot on your face so it certainly isn't cute but I do think it helped. I will say I do not care for the bottle. It's hard not to feel inclined to shake something that looks like its broken up in the bottle but the bottle says do not shake. Besides that, there is no applicator. I have to use a Q-tip and it isn't quite long enough to get to the bottom which is where the directions say you are supposed to get to before applying. I think that lack of a long dropper or wand applicator is a fatal flaw in this design...it makes it messy and wastes product.

I was a bit skeptical despite all the positive reviews, but after one use, I'm a true blue believer! I originally bought EradiKate to treat my husband's back acne which it did with great success, so it earned 5 stars right there. But I wasn't done with it yet. I have rosacea and get bumps under my skin that never actually come to a head and very frustrating to deal with. Nothing I've used has ever been effective on them. So, I decided to try the EradiKate. Lo and behold, after one night of about 6 pink dots scattered across my face, half of the bumps were virtually gone, completely level with the rest of my skin and the redness in them was significantly decreased. After a second night, they were all gone, level with my skin and the first set were invisible except for the pink of the formula on my skin...there was nothing underneath but perfectly normal skin. After night three, my skin is back to its beautiful, normal self again, no bumps or lumps, no sign of discoloration from the bumps themselves, nothing. Granted I still have discoloration from age and sun (limited thanks to great skin genes and lavish use of sunscreen over the decades), but that too is fading thanks to the use of other Kate Sommerville products. As for EradiKate, I can't sing it's praises high enough! This is an amazing product that really works and did so without drying out my already dry, sensitive skin, and as such, will always find a place on our bathroom counter!!

Borrowed some of this stuff from my sister - had to buy my own. No acne cream gets rid of all pimples on the spot, unfortunately. However, this is the best product that I have found for quickly reducing the size and redness of pimples. The treatment is sort of a goop that goes on like a muddy cream. It is easy to apply with a Q-tip. A little goes a long way and can be applied to a specific zit or a larger area. The stuff dries pretty quickly on your skin so none of it gets on your pillow if you use overnight. There is a slight sulfur smell, so be wary of that bothers you. I have never really bothered a slight sulfur smell and will certainly put up with it for the major this stuff works. It's a tad drying so I wouldn't overdo the application if you have dry skin. I have combination skin and I just add moisturizer in the morning after use. The dryness never gets to the point of looking red, flaky, or anything like that and with just a little lotion love I can wear this daily without problems.
