Mixed Media Layered Sweater

I have been wanting a 'shirt/sweater' combo. This looks and fits similar to the picture. I am 5'6", 140lbs and am a 34G. I ordered a Medium. It fits well, maybe a bit over-sized. I normally wear a medium/large because I like the sleeves to come down past my wrists. And they do come to where the picture shows them. My only complaint is that where the white cotton "shirt" tails are attached toward the bottom of the sweater, there is no stretch. So it feels like a band around my hips. Other than trying it on, I haven't worn it yet as it has been a hot summer. But so far I would recommend this sweater.

I ordered a size down (usually a perfect Medium, ordered a Small) based on previous reviews and this sweater was still too large. It didn't come off as intentionally oversized. Really just awkward and gaping at the neckline and underarms. Similar to another reviewer, the band around the hips has no stretch and will cling tightly there. That combined with the gaping chest area was really just a total disaster for the fit on this one. It may work for women with larger busts to fill out the top. For comparison, I'm 5'7", 145lbs, and 36B with narrow shoulders. Not flattering if you have similar measurements.

Love this top. It will dress up blue jeans, & pair well with black jeans or my black lululemon pants. I'll be able to wear comfy, casual shoes when I'm doing a lot of walking, & still look pulled together & a little "dressed up." And it's a great addition to my travel capsule wardrobe. will pack well & go with just about anything. I'm picturing it with a strand of small pearls, blue jeans, & either white sneakers or even my birkenstocks.
