Very warm! Kept my feet dry and cozy during recent Chicago snowstorm with more than a foot of snow!

This boot is very warm and comfortable. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2 but after reading other reviews about the boot running small I purchased a size 9. It feels a little to big when I have on a thin sock but when wearing a thicker sock it fits fine. Love the color and look of this boot.

I was looking for winter boots that were REAL shearling, suede, leather, or fur. I saw these were rated at -40°C AND -40°F. I questioned that rating because how could it be rated -40° for both when they're 2 different forms of measurement? Also, it was faux shearling and made with textiles, not real fur or leather (real fur and leather is warmer). But I thought, what the heck? The price was so good, why not try them, right? My husband wanted to go play in the snow on Mt. Hood, so I needed something. Well, I should have gone with my gut on this. These will definitely not keep your feet warm to -40°. They hardly kept my feet warm in the house when I tried them on. Now, keep in mind, I have Raynauds Syndrome, so my feet turn blue when the weather is under 70° and raining. That's why I was looking for REAL fur and leather...something they'd wear in Alaska or Canada. For most people, these boots will keep your feet fairly warm in the winter...but NOT to -40°. For people who get cold easily, or people with Raynauds, these aren't going to work for you. Luckily, last week it was sunny and 50° on Mt. Hood. Otherwise, i wouldn't have been able to play. One last thing: The boots slouched around my ankles a little when I walked. It wasn't comfortable.

I found the snowvalley2 boots exceptionally warm. They also are much easier on and off than anticipated. They open up easily to slip your foot in. On the con side, they are somewhat bulky and don't look very stylish. I am also concerned that the cream colored trim may get dirty fast.
