'Porto' Waterproof Winter Boot

Love the style, height and fit of these boots. Looking forward to wearing them. They do run small. I wear a 7M but had to return them for an 8. The width was ok but the 7, even when I looked at them right out of the box, was clearly too small. I have thin calves and the lacing is perfect over slim jeans.

I got these in the grey and they are the cutest snow boots! The heel is a tad high (they are wedges) but they are very comfortable. I'm a size 6.5 and ordered a 7 due to reviews mentioning they run small, and they fit nicely. I wore these with skinny jeans last season and can't wait to rock them again this year!

Bought these for my step mom for Christmas and she loved them! They are warm, comfy and stylish. She usually wears a 7.5 and we got her an 8 (comes in whole sizes), fit well.

These boots have great style and are very well made. They're not clunky when walking, which was difficult to find in a boot for -25 degree temp rating. I wear a size 8-1/2 (that is probably really a 9 these days.) Although I read comments saying they run small, I ordered a size 9. I felt a 10 would be too large a whole 1-1/2 sizes large. The 1/2 size bigger feels like my big toe is touching the front. The width is perfect (my foot width is on the wide side of normal range). My heel is very loose and moves up and down when I walk. I showed my son, who knows a thing or two about boot fit as he is a professional skier, and he said returning for a 10 would be a mistake. He said my foot would just slide forward in the boot and my toes would be crushed. When he stood on the tips of my boots, I could feel there is in fact room in the front. What I'm feeling is the tip of my big toe against the top of the boot, not the toe hitting the front of the boot. My son recommends thin to medium wool socks instead of thick wool socks. If heel still slides when wearing the wool socks, an insert can be added to the sole to prevent the foot from sliding forward. The boot really doesn't run small. Feet sliding forward is what makes it feel small because the toes are moved forward. If you push the heel back into the boot where it belongs, there's plenty of room. Bottom line: Consider an insert to keep your foot towards the back of the boot before returning for a larger size.

I usually wear a size 7 in most shoes, these boots run a size small. I had exchanged for the next size up. Otherwise, they're cute and can't wait to wear them this coming winter.
