Best Eyeliner!

My new favorite eyeliner! The color Swamped is beautiful. Its long lasting, doesnt transfer on hooded eyes. I tested it on a 101 degree day. Dug 2 holes and planted trees and was a sweaty mess. The eyeliner stayed! No transfer. I also like that i can use it as shadow too. Im definitely going to purchase other shades!

Not good...

I bought this in shades Smoked Quartz & Prunella Prince. The colors looked great, but the performance was sub-par. These would NOT adhere to my waterline. Yet the pigment dries down so lightening fast, I couldn't get a good smudge when using them as eyeliner. And forget using them as eyeshadow - - I couldn't smudge or gradiate either shade at all. They just congealed in clumps on my lids. Put it this way: After just applying, this product looked like I'd had it on for 12 sweaty, humid hours, that's how clumped & creased it was. And I'm no beginner - - I have four decades of experience with daily makeup wear and have an extensive collection of cosmetics. I don't have wrinkly, oily, or dry lids either. It wasn't me, it was this pencil. Two stars for the nice colors.

Worth a try

I love how smooth this product goes on. It adds a really nice smokey look. The one negative thing I've got to say is that the tip smashes down very easily and is super hard to sharpen. : I received this product for free from MAC Cosmetics for testing and review purposes.

so smooth and creamy

This eyeliner was in my opinion the best formula I have tried! I don’t use eyeliner everyday but in a date night or events I liked to add a little extra And I found myself reach for this every time. The formula is creamy and glides for whatever you are using it for. The color is like a brown with some extra and I love it. I will be getting more colors probably a black. It’s MOSTLY waterproof

I really like the M·A·C Kajal Excess Longwear Smoky Eye Liner! It goes on really smoothly and makes it super easy to create a smoky eye without a lot of effort. The color is rich and buildable. It lasts really well throughout the day, but I did notice a little bit of smudging after 5 hours of wear. I gotta admit, my eyes are always watering. It only smudged a tiny bit! It’s better than most. Overall, it’s a great eyeliner and definitely one I’ll keep using. 4/5 stars because it wasn’t “waterproof.”

A creamy eye pencil with decent longevity!

I was decently impressed with this MAC Kajal Excess eyeliner! As someone with sweaty/oily hooded eyes, I really struggle to find an eyeliner that doesn’t smudge like crazy on me. The photo shows the eyeliner after about 9 hours of wear, with an eye primer underneath. There was some transfer underneath my wing (and ignore the mascara flakes — it’s tubing so none of the smudging is from it!). Do I feel like I’ve found my new favorite eyeliner that I will now buy in 5 colors? No, unfortunately. But I do think it’s a very strong eyeliner, that will work really well for a lot of people! This “Peacock” color is gorgeous too! I received this product for free from MAC Cosmetics for testing and review purposes.
