For drier skin, exfoliation whisks away surface flakes, clearing the way for moisturizer. For oilier skin, twice-daily exfoliation helps minimize excess oil and keep pores clear. Did you know Clinique’s exfoliating lotion is different from a toner? Toners are primarily used to help rebalance skin after cleansing. Clinique Clarifying Lotion is formulated with exfoliating ingredients to help remove dead cells on skin’s surface. Clearing away that debris with Clarifying Lotion makes skin more receptive to moisturizer and other treatment products.

How to use: Use the toner lotion twice a day, morning and night. Apply with a cotton ball, sweeping gently over face and neck. Follow with Step 3, moisturizer.
