Floral Print Long Sleeve Tiered Midi Dress

I was hoping this would be a throwback to 90s floral dresses and I loved the colors. Unfortunately, it was just too much fabric and was overly modest and not figure flattering. I tried sizing down, but the puff sleeves, ruffle trim, tie neck and full skirt were just too much when put all together. It was too Little House on the Prairie for me and both sizes are going back.

Easily dressed up or down and great for fall and winter. Bought this same dress in a different pattern during the anniversary sale a few years ago and knew I needed another! Typically a size 4 but i size up to a 6 because the shoulders/chest run a little tight and there is zero stretch. Totally ok to size up though since waist is adjustable!

I was hesitant to buy this dress online as I was unsure if a size 8 would fit me correctly. I'm always struggling between a 6 and an 8. I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, 56 yo. The size 8 fit perfectly! The perfect length for a midi, not too long, not too short. The material lays very well on the curves. Very happy with the dress.
