NOT Machine Washable
I was so happy with the DR. B.F.F. - the pretty color, all of its various compartments for easy storage, the removable straps, and the soft changing pad were awesome. It was great for a month....until just now, when I washed it for the first time in the machine per instructions (machine gentle cold in wash bag). The bag came out looking like a dog got to it and tore a chunk out of the bottom. Was my mesh wash bag not good enough or something? For a luxury bag that claims to be "machine washable", this isn't it. Very disappointed as this expensive bag is basically ruined because I washed it.

Gorgeous Bag
The quality has changed over the years, especially in the zipper. I have quite a few JuJuBe bags from over 5 years ago that are amazing and holding up like brand new. This bag is just as beautiful, except the zippers stick. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars. We still use it though so 4 stars.

Zippers stick
Love the bag, it’s the perfect size and the different compartment are great. The only downside is I can’t zip the bag with one hand, zipper is hard to pull

Only giving 4 because I’m used to the Million Pockets Backpack
Okay, this is a good bag. The opening is cool but I’ve been spoiled with the Million Pockets backpack so here’s my feelings with this bag compared to the other Jujube bag that I love. I can’t get another Million Pockets backpack because they have discontinued it and I don’t know why. It has been their best quality bag that I have. So here goes:
*Fabric in black on Dr. BFF shows stuff/scuffs on it. It’s machine washable but let’s be honest, who’s washing their backpacks when they could just have one made of buttery soft vegan leather that wipes easily and never shows markings on it (Million pockets). It’s gross to have this bag in the rain. Million Pockets leather wipes off and is immediately dry.
*Zippers take 2 hands to open and close. They get stuck easily. Million pockets zippers are like butter. Big difference.
*On Dr. BFF there’s a Zipper for the “tech pocket” instead of magnetic closure. This zipper will RIP your skin off trying to get your phone. Million pockets- smooth magnetic closure that allows you to reach with one hand and keep all your skin.
*Drink pockets are larger than million pockets so that’s nice.
*If you have a partner that shares the backpack style with you and he puts it on he won’t be able to easily adjust the backpack to his back because the strap adjustment is complicated. Million Pockets- your partner can put the backpack on and either pull the straps to tighten it or release the straps with one hand really easily. Again, like buttah.
Sorry for the not so great review but I’m just comparing it to what I just had to stop using so these are my thoughts.

Color is not like the picture.
I decided to purchase this bag for its wide set and open mouthed design at the top, I was initially very excited to receive this, and would have normally been very happy with it if the “neon coral” color was more like the picture that is advertised. It’s not like a neon red, more of a neon/highlighter peach color. Promptly returning.

PERFECT EVEN IF MY BABIES AREN’T BABIES ANYMORE
Perfect backpack even if my babies are 8 & 6 years old. Haha! I just love using diaper backpacks for everyday use and traveling because it’s just more functional. It has all the zippers and inside pockets to keep all the belongings organized & safe.
