Torrie Water Resistant Platform Boot (Women)

I need an alternative to warm/waterproof Ugg’s. I’ve had the same pair for at least 8 years and they are just too clunky and hot. These will work. These actually fit me perfectly (8.5) and my foot is picky (not me of course). Not sure about the other reviewer who thought thought the sizing was weird. I thought the style was somewhat unique in comparison with all that’s out there right now. While I’m not over the moon about the style, the price was right and my 6-year-old daughter approves so what else matters? I wore them with boot socks and leggings today and I’ll try them with bootcut jeans as well as straight— I think they will work for all. They are comfortable enough— I wouldn’t go jogging in them.

Loved the look and style of these booties, but they are super narrow. I don't have wide feet and always wear medium width. But once I managed to get my foot into the boot, they were cutting off my circulation because they were so narrow and tight. They also ran small lengthwise because my toes were right up to the front edge and that was without any socks. I normally wear a size 7 but in a boot I get 1/2 size up to allow for thicker socks. I don't even think these boots would fit much better if I went up to an 8 1/2. Therefore, I'm returning.

I absolutely love these shoes. I paid attention to the previous reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up and was very pleased. They are very warm and easy to clean. Great for people in areas where you see 4 season or in my case all 4 seasons in one day it seems. Recently it rained a bit and was about 35 degrees out and these shoes really passed the test to what the description boasts. It was a good buy.
