Noca Platform Lace-Up Sneaker (Women)

I am trying to boost the rating on this sneaker a bit because I find them to be a five-star in the platform sneaker realm. Some platform sneakers are stiff and awkward to walk in, but these are comfortable and really cute, too. Respectfully, I find the slate color to be not only really versatile, but also as described, a true slate grey. IRL, they might be a somewhat darker than the photo, but I think that has to do with lighting. It's a good neutral and looks great with jean shorts/jeans, white jeans and anything in the black and navy family. I do think they run a tad large and wide, but I don't think enough to go down a size. If your foot is narrow, however, they might be too wide. Overall, it's a great sneaker and I just came back to most likely purchase the white. *tuck in the laces after tying for a more streamlined look*

I rarely write reviews, and even more rarely do I write a negative review, but the pricepoint of these shoes and the incredibly fragile leather that scuffs and tears at the slightest (and I do mean the slightest) bit of friction warrants a heads up to other buyers.. The quality is something I would expect for a shoe I spent less than $50 on, not close to $200... This was my first time purchasing this brand and it will be my last. I've loved the comfort and hip style of my new kicks, but after wearing them less than 10-15 times, the leather is ripped in several places (a first for me!) and they look like I've had them for years.. Very surprising.
