Floral Appliqué Chiffon Gown

This dress is absolute stunning. It's very light, airy and elegant. The floral appliques makes you feel "girly"! The bodice is perfect if you are looking for a dress that hugs your waistline, it's very flattery! A bit long but I am 5'3 but heels fixed that. It is true to size. I bought a size 4 and it was a perfect fit.

I bought this dress for a very formal ball. I had to get it tailored. It was gorgeous on but throughout the night, many of the flowers fell off (and it was a ball so I wasn't doing anything very active). It was beautiful but very disappointing. I will probably end up returning it because I will never wear it again due to how many flowers fell off.

I am celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary soon. We are renewing our vows on a Caribbean beach. I am looking for a lighter weight, flowing gown to wear. I'm a size 14 that never wears a 16 and can sometime wear a 12, full bust, thick tummy, and almost 5'6". I ordered this in 14 and the fit was perfect. With high heels, I wouldn't have to hem. This gown is ethereal, faery like. Light weight and flowing. Just what I wanted. The upper chest and upper back area are netting. I was afraid it would feel "scratchy" when wearing. It did not. Very comfortable. The rosettes are freeform and delicately sewn on. Just so pretty. None appeared to be missing from shipping or when I tried it on as others noted. Even though it really wouldn't be awful if some were to come off here or there, I would be careful not to be too rough while wearing. The area under the bustline is form fitting - not stretchy at all. It did fit me, but if I inhaled fully, it did tighten. So, be sure to measure and don't size down at all. Unfortunately for me, I have heavy upper arms with some cellulite. This beautiful dress did not flatter me when I put it on. Although I do still wear sleeveless, I feel that the rosettes somehow highlighted my problem area instead of detracting from it. If you have smooth arms, I would not hesitate in ordering this lovely gown. As other reviewers have pointed out, the color is a bit darker than it appears online. I have a fair skin tone, with natural blonde hair, and it was just a bit darker than my skin tone. I easily could have worn this color. If you are darker skinned, it will look lighter on you.

Ordered this dress for my daughters wedding, I had to order a 4 and will have it taken in a little (I really needed a 2), and shortened, it runs very long. It is even prettier in person. I was a bit disappointed that one of the rosettes has already fallen off but since I will be taking so much off the length, the seamstress can use one from the bottom. It is too bad they don't offer this dress in a petite.
