Cyrene Slingback Cap Toe Pump (Women)

I am a true 8.5 or 39, but I ordered this in an 8, because in a slingback or a heeled sandal, I do better with a half size smaller. My foot is narrow-ish, not so much in width side to side, but I lack volume in my feet and ankles, thus anything even a little “strappy” like this shoe, my foot will slide around. I put this on the very smallest hole and it may work. The shoe itself looks more pricey than it is. Also, the navy is a true deep, dark navy, which is so, so rare. It does elongate the foot, but that’s the shape. I did not have trouble with the forefoot being too wide, which I usually do. I think this is due to the shape of the shoe in front. So if you are wide, this may not work for you. Even at the smaller size 8, for me, I am wondering if I could swing a 7.5 just to give me the snugger fit that I need without my heel hanging off the back, thus I would say it runs at least a half size big in length. A very elegant looking shoe. The jury is still out for me, but with the caveats in sizing I stated, this shoe is worth a try!
