Sofie 26 Sneaker (Women)

First for size comment, I always wear 40EU in Seibel shoes although I almost always wear a 39EU in any other Euro size footwear and I am an 8.5M in nearly all US sized shoes. So for context for your decision making, while Seibel 39 is 8 / 8.5 on their chart and 40 is 9 / 9.5 so it goes for fit on the literally dozens of Seibel shoes I've purchased over the years. I bought these cute and comfy shoes in black and castagna (brown) and the brown fits just a tad bigger; had the brown not been sold out in 39 I would have tried size in that color too. For comfort comment, these are super lightweight with more arch support than you might expect for a perforated cut out sneaker style shoe, they lace up comfortable for a snug fit and the bottoms have enough 'something' for traction but not too much to be 'grippy'. All of those comfort elements are important for me as I have balance and gait problems due to onset of multiple sclerosis in my colleges years several decades ago. A good choice for me for summer wear and the first day out of the box I wore the black ones for multiple hours for total comfort. As far as I could tell Nordy's is the only retailer to carry this style in lace up and although Seibel makes Sofie in a slip on too (Sofie 27) this lace up is the better type for me. Fun to wear too and they get "cute shoes - where did you get them" compliments.
