perfect black wedge
I have been looking for a casual black wedge and these are it. The strap is Velcro but not cheap or kid looking. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I expect to wear them many times.

Don't do Velcro
Loved the shoe! I was looking for comfort and style and this shoe has both. Fits perfect and love everything about the sandal EXCEPT THE VELCRO FASTENER..The buckle is a facade. You have to press very hard on the velcro to make sure it attaches and then it seams to loosen up and come apart while you are walking. This was very frustrating for me. So I returned the sandals.

I have a Narrow foot and have several JS shoes that fit well. I bought 2 colors; the jeans and the platinum (metallic). They fit completely different from one another. The jeans are a good fit-due to the Velcro ankle closing. But the platinum pair-I can fit several fingers between the strap and my foot...those will be sent back. I do see quality slipping withJS and unfortunately these shoes are made in Asia. There is no reason for there to be such a difference in fit between the 2 colors. I suggest ordering 2 sizes.

cute shoe, strange fit
I wanted to like this shoe. I have a couple of other pairs of Josef Siebel shoes from Nordstrom and love them. I bought these for summer graduation ceremonies in football stadiums. I thought it would be a cute looking and comfortable alternative to wearing heels while sitting in bleachers. It is cute and seems to be comfortable; however, it fits strangely with the front band (gaps) and the strap around the ankle (also gaps some). I thought it would slide and rub while walking and might give me blisters. I sent them back. If it fits you, I'm sure this would be a great shoe. The quality looks good. The shoes just didn't fit me.

Comfortable sandals
Really, liked the feel of this sandal. It is very comfortable and love the easy velcro strap It fits true to my size. I have purchased shoes from Josef Siebel in the past and you can never go wrong with a pair of his shoes.
