Most comfortable sandals ever!
These have to be the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Wow! I usually wear an 8 medium and bought these in black in EU 39 and they fit perfect. They are very light weight, have nice support, and great cushy insoles. I read a review that said the style looked too "grandma" and I disagree. I didn't think that at all. And I am not a grandma. I love them!

Disappointed
The leather was not soft and hurt the top of my feet. The soles are a hard "rubber" and do not provide traction to protect against slipping and falls. I did not feel comfortable trying to make this shoe work. Returned. So disappointed as I am a big Josef Seibel fan.

Josef Seibel Sandal review
Love the shoe, light weight, looks and feels comfy. I have not worn them yet on a very hot day with a lot of walking, but I'm pretty sure they will be great for that! They are true to size unless they stretch after a lot of wear. I suppose I should wear them a lot before posting, but Nordstrom's is so great that if there is a problem, they will fix it for sure!

Dressy and supportive
This is a very supportive (arch) and comfortable shoe, no need to break it in, it is hard to find a sandal that has good arch support and is attractive enough to wear to the office.

Perfect fit for a hard-to-fit foot
I have trouble finding shoes that have a high enough rise to fit my high instep. Often, my toe doesn't reach the front of a sandal and my heel hangs off the back, because the upper part of the shoe is too flat to fit over the arch of my foot. These fit right out of the box, thanks to a cleverly placed bit of elastic. They are comfortable, stylish and well made. I have other shoes made by Josef Seibel that have lasted 25 years, so I expect to wear these for a long time.

Josef Seibel shoes are the best!
I only wear Josef Seibel shoes because the are so comfortable. I have a wide foot and it is hard to find attractive shoes that don't cause disconfort when walking.
