Essentials Chicago Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cargo pants. They have been out of style for the last decade or so. So why not try to make a comeback with cargo pants, only take away everything about them that worked to begin with? That’s what they have done here. They moved the pocket to end directly on your kneecap. You know, the place where a super thick seam will be the most uncomfortable spot ever. Then they turned the pocket to a 45 degree angle, ensuring that you can’t actually use the pocket which makes them uncomfortable to begin with. The materials feel durable. They feel like a quality pant, but the material doesn’t match the supposed utility. They have pockets, so you could equate these to work pants. The material is far too thick for anything athletic, but then they have ties around the ankles, suggesting these could be used for jogging or hiking, but then we go back to the materials of being thick, so neither of those would work. I am a fairly athletic shaped man with muscular legs and they were baggy in all of the wrong places. I cannot think of a body type these would look pleasant on. Maybe I’m not fashion forward enough, but I can’t see these pants being for anyone other than the super trendy and being able to pull off their own look.
