Essentials Chicago Canvas Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This structured shirt/jacket is the perfect addition to elevate your look. I would say this jacket has a regular/loose fit and feels like a structured lighter weight jean type jacket. I love the boxy design and think the structured fabric elevates the style of the piece. The silver buttons up and down the front and on the sleeves are my favorite part and I wouldn’t change anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice piece to get creative with, I’ve been into workwear styled jackets recently and this fits nicely true to size with a light hoodie underneath, love the way it works when layered. The material is interestingly textured, the black is very easy to wear and I like how it has a slightly a worn look. It fits well with my versatile style. There’s a small inside pocket I love to put my glasses in. The rest of the jacket is very simple but well made. I like the embroidery of the jump-man on the left chest area, it’s a subtle but nice touch. The last thing I want to bring attention to is the nice metal buttons (with jump mans in the inside) that work well and feel super high quality. I’m impressed with the small but on point details. I’m 150lbs 5’10 and a medium works well, not too short or long, not oversized, just perfect. Excited to wear this and see it gain more character as it wears in!

It’s a versatile piece that can be both the statement or compliment of an outfit. The design is visually appealing and I think it looks very sleek. It is an overall lightweight jacket but the washed canvas material does feel rather durable. Movement is a bit restricted in the arm and shoulder areas so I wouldn’t wear this if I was anticipating a lot of upper body movement. Overall I think it’s a great jacket and I’m planning to keep it in my rotation for a long time. This was my first time owning a jacket like this style and I’m very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great elevated streetwear jacket. The weight and structure of the jacket makes it a solid choice to pair with jeans. Given that my partner is a sneaker head obsessed with Jordan anything having this item was icing on the cake. At 6’6” the XL fit perfectly (length of arm was great even with his muscular build) and hit comfortably at the waist. Since it’s unlined, he mentioned that wearing it during cooler summer nights or in the spring would be ideal but there could be space for a hoodie or warmer base layer underneath. Overall a very versatile addition to his Jordan collection. As for my teen son who’s 5’11” and 250+ he also fits the XL well and commented on how it made his sweats look less casual :)… which is plus given teen attire these days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the black jacket in a size 2X for my husband that is 6ft and 200lbs with a muscular build and this jacket fits perfectly. Not an oversized look, but loose fitting with great structure. I would order as true to size for this jacket and just know that it's a tad roomy. So with that said, he loves this jacket! It pairs great with light blue jeans for an old school contrast. But, keep in mind it's not a deep black. More like a black wash if that makes sense. Overall we both would recommend and think this jacket is great quality. It is heavy so it's great for the cold weather we're having! Sorry I forgot to snap a photo so you could see how handsome he looked in it :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough good things about this jacket, I haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it. The canvas feels waxed so water beads off it. I would say if you have pets, keep the lint roller close as the material does attract pet hair. Living in the Pacific Northwest that’s a must for me. I wear a size medium and it’s roomy, relaxed, not too oversized. I love pairing it with a sweatshirt for colder days. The front pockets are big but still secure a small wallet. The hidden small inner pocket is a nice touch, though I do wish there was a big inner pocket somewhere in the jacket as I prefer to use those. The design is sleek with the black distressed look and branding that blends until you get close. It’s not trying to be anything other than a go to everyday jacket and Jordan hit the mark with this one.
