Great look!

I'm wearing them right now and they're awesome! I stand a lot during the day. Comfortable fit, great look.

Shoe sole separating

Poor quality control. I love the way these shoes look and feel but the sole seperates from the upper leather at the ball of the foot. I returned the pair and purchased another identical pair thinking the problem was an isolated issue. It was not! The same issue happened to the 2nd pair in less than a week of wear. J&M stood behind their product and issued a refund. I have been a loyal customer for many years and hope this problem is solved quickly.

Nice shoe but

This is a nice shoe as it very comfortable and stylish, but the only downside in my opinion is that the color is not as advertised. The color is more of a dark brown, pretty much like the burnished color on the toe.

Comfortable, stylish, and durable

These were exactly the type of shoe my husband has been searching for - a brown leather shoe with a durable, rubber sole. They're comfortable to wear for his commute to work and appropriate to wear in the office.

No sock comfort!

This is a great, comfortable, affordable summer shoe that will transition well to fall casual wear.

Laces wear out very quickly

Shoe is good but the laces wear out very quickly. They become frayed very easily and look bad quickly. Couldn’t find a matching replacement.

Johnston & Murphy response
Thank you for this specific feedback — we appreciate that you like the shoe overall, but lace durability is something we'll take seriously. Fraying quickly and being hard to replace is a real inconvenience, and we apologize! This is being bubbled up to our product team. Please feel free to reach out for further assistance. We'd love to discuss the situation further, provide advice as needed, and help you find replacement laces Johnston & Murphy Customer Service (800) 424-2854 johnstonmurphy@johnstonmurphy.com https://www.johnstonmurphy.com/help.html
