XC Flex Cody Cap Toe Lace-Up Boot (Men)

I've been Brand loyal to Johnston & Murphy shoes for 30 years and was very excited to order these. However when I received them I was shocked at the shoddy workmanship. The lining was not stitched in place it was glued the the shoes. and before even wearing them the lining was already starting to come unglued. The soles look like they're stitched but they can't be resoled as the stitching is faux as it doesn't go through. I will say they were comfortable for the 5 minutes I wore them for a fit test, however it was obvious that they would start to fall apart quickly so I returned them to the store. Whenever possible I buy my shoes at Nordstorms as they stand behind anything they sell and returns are never an issue. Nice to know the same customer service a Norwegian shoe cobbler in Seattle was known for still exist's today! Hopefully my next experience with a pair of Johnston & Murphy shoe's will be on par with the quality that I've grown to expect from them. So long story short, I would look else where for a good pair of stylish boots as this particular model is poorly made
